Fundraising officer II - EVENTS (2-year contract, renewable)
The Fundraising Officer II – Events assists in the implementation, evaluation, documentation and other post-event follow ups of the fundraising events/activities.
Responsibilities:
- To support and execute the development and implementation of the fundraising events that generate income and promote Oxfam's values and work.
- To lead on the implementation of some small-scale events.
- To provide assistance in the recruitment and servicing of participants and volunteers, and the sourcing for venues, and cultivate good relationships.
- To provide the administrative and logistics supports such as database management, receipting, souvenir productions, logistics arrangement and briefings for key stakeholders.
- To help maintain proper records and document good practices.
- To take on additional tasks and assignments as requested.
Requirements:
- Degree holder, with at least 3 years' relevant working experience in events, fundraising, or marketing. Experience in organising events of large scale would be an advantage.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Fundraising Assistant - Events
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required.
- Good customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills, detail-oriented, work flexibly & creatively.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Immediate available is highly preferable.
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
