This study integrates the set of actions developed by social organizations andmovements in Mozambique and Brazil working together to support the strugglesfor justice, rights and food security and sovereignty in both countries, and which result from Brazilian cooperation and investments in Mozambique that affect these struggles.

The study presented here analyzes the motivations and practices of Brazilian cooperation and investment in Africa. To do so, it presents data, information and analyses on Brazilian agricultural cooperation and investments in Africa. It takes the partnership between Brazil and Japan with the Mozambican government as a reference, in particular, the ProSavana, especially with regard to the implementation of an agricultural production system.
